Enzyme Technology
The Enzyme Technology Laboratory belongs to Center for Proteins Study, oficially founded in 2001. The group has more than 20 years of experience on immobilized derivatives synthesis for its employment on affinity chromatography, enzymatic bioconversion, biosensors, enzymatic bioreactors, analytical applications, and immobilized enzymes as therapeutic agents, etc; with several uses on Biotechnological, Nanotechnological, Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Agrochemical, and Food industries. Today in day we are developing a Rational Design of Immobilized Derivative strategy (RDID) that combines mathematical algorithms and bioinformatics tools for designing optimum immobilization processes. This strategy had been implemented in a computer program RDID1.0.
